Jay Sheppard and I have been watching the cel tower used last year by a pair of Osprey to see if it will be reused this year. Jay saw the pair on the nest today! If you are driving northeast on Brock Bridge Road and cross the bridge over the Little Patuxent River, look to your right and up at the top of the tower closest to the road. The tower is in the power line right-of-way so there is no access, but you can see it from the road. The right-of-way is adjacent to the river, which is adjacent to the nature preserve. Oxbow Lake provides the osprey a source of food and you will see them fishing there often.

NOTE: There is no signage telling you that you are crossing the Little Patuxent River, but the large body of water flowing under the bridge is indeed a river.
