Golden Eagle over Frederick

A short while ago I saw an adult Golden Eagle over my house, north side of Frederick. I dashed inside for my camera (startling my wife with my colorful language) and got a few "good enough" record shots, but the bird was high and distant, by then, heading off northeast. A minute or two later an adult Bald Eagle flew over...those are somewhat regular here, but usually immature birds.

Grading student papers on a beautiful afternoon, but that now feels like time well spent.
