Raven nest with 3 young is located at the southwest corner of Pennslyvania Avenue and York Road. The 3 young may be very close to fledging.

Nest is on the east face of the General Dynamics building and at the center part of the east face, just above the last set of horizontal windows.see the building indentation on the attached photo.

You can see from the se corner of York and Pennslyvania. Or a scope view may be had further east and Delaware and Pennslyvania.

Good birding!

On Friday the 19th all 4 young were seen on the nest. The fourth bird is sometimes hard to spot. All 4 were seen when being fed.
We've been viewing the nest through spotting scopes from the roof-top parking lot of the Baltimore County Public Library. It costs a few bucks to park there, but the view is not only good for the nest but also good for watching the adults as they hunt and fly around downtown Towson!
Of particular interest is how the adults react when raptors get too close to the nest. Red-tailed Hawks seem to be tolerated somewhat, while Turkey Vultures are escorted away quickly. Perhaps this is because Ravens are known to cache food that Vultures may find.
I believe this is only the second confirmed report of Ravens nesting in Baltimore County.
