On an outing this morning to the Gaithersburg Lowes, we saw a pair of Common ravens flying over the intersection of Quince Orchard and Great Seneca.

But I'm burying the non-bird lead.  This morning my daughter was walking around the Crown development (near the Rio, off Sam Eig and I-270) and found a family of five otters frolicking in a retention pond (picture attached)

Nice Jim! Over the years, while looking for birds, have noted a single otter at Lake Placid off Darnestown Rd and also one in the impoundments at Hughes Hollow but never a family of 5.

Make sure you submit your photo to MD Biodiversity Project (https://www.marylandbiodiversity.com/). Doesn't look like they have a record for that part of the quad.

Tell your brother Dave, Karen Collishaw's husband says "hey!"
