Hi Everyone,

We have a major announcement at MBP! We are excited to share that we have added initial support for seasonality charts. This allows you to go to any of our 20,000+ species pages and explore the timing of MBP records. It is one of our longest awaited features! Future versions will allow us to filter by phenology (blooming, fruiting, etc.) and age/sex (adult, juvenile, larva, egg, male, female, etc.).
Just go to any MBP page and look below the map and status info on the right. Click "View seasonality details" for the full-page version, including a history tab (records over years).
What a productive year 2021 has been, and we have even bigger plans for 2022, our 10-year anniversary. 2022 will be a year-long celebration with more special projects and more leaps forward for the website. Please consider a #GivingTuesday donation via the "Donate" link on any MBP page, such as the Monarch page here:
Please spread the word and let us know what you think. If you're in a position to support MBP and keep the awesome momentum going in 2022, we'd greatly appreciate it!
Special thanks to Jacqueline Palacios for her awesome work here!
- Bill
