hello, it would be great to find out the encryption algorithm of the TYT UV88 firmware, it looks simple, but I still can't get it, or I'm wrong about the CPU, considering that it is Cortex

The TYT UV88 cannot use MD380 tools as it is ANALOG only. they look alike as they are both TYT but the guts are different (as is the UV88 smaller screen).

In the US encryption is not allowed on Amateur radio bands anyways, so unless you have license in other services that this radio is (very doubtfully) type accepted for, don't use it.

The bigger problem with the UV88 is the DCS tones are not accurate on the one I need to use 411N but not the right palce for me to ask here either.
