I am selling my 5 unit, 2 base station Motorola 2-Way Trunked Programmable
Radio System "Maxtrac 800". It runs on 800 megahertz frequencies. I will
sell the system whole or separately.
I am asking $1500 for the system complete. All offers will be considered!

The system specifically consists of:
5 Motorola 2-Way Trunked 800 MHz Mobile Radios "Maxtrac 800" Programmable
15W 1 System / 1 Subfleet ($3,907.50 new)
2 Base Control Stations ($748.00 new)
1 Deskset Base Station Extension ($434.11 new)
The system was used for my towing company, and we have reduced our fleet and
have decided to utilize cellular communications. In Baltimore, a company
called Nextel has purchased and is converting 75% of the analog 800
megahertz frequencies to digital signal only, reducing the system my radios
operate on. The system was running on 20 different channels, and will
probably be reduced to about 5 channels which might be pretty crowded in
Baltimore, depending on how may radio users switch to digital or cellular.
If you have any suggestions on any places on the internet that I should
advertise these radios, I would really appreciate your advise.
