Dear volunteers,
Just repeating this message from our friends at the Catoctin Camp in Thurmont.   They could use a few more volunteers.

Subject: This Saturday at Catoctin Quaker Camp

Hello to Chestnut Restoration Volunteers!

We are looking forward to seeing you on Saturday, April 15, 2023.  We will get started around 9:30 am but feel free to come when you can.  We hope to wrap things up 4:00 pm. We will gather at the camp at 9:30 am but we will be working in an area that is a nice walk from the camp facilities. If you want to join us after around 9:45 am you can go to the South Landing along Mink Farm Road (39.581574876251814, -77.49505113682429 you can paste these coordinates into google maps to find the Landing) where you will see a School bus .  Follow the orange flagging you will find on the south end of the Landing (left side if you are facing up the hill) up the hill and past the trees that have been planted to the worksite.

We will provide tools..

We will provide sandwich makings for lunch.  If you would like to bring beverages, chips or a some kind of salad to share at lunch please feel free.

Please dress for the weather and bring heavy soled shoes, jeans and protective eyewear.

Friends under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by a Friend who is older than 18.

We can’t wait to see everyone at Camp!

Peace to you,

David Hunter
