Baltimore County Forestry Board Workshop

Orchard Volunteers,

Glenn Ferenschak, chair of the Baltimore County forestry board, asked me to forward the workshop announcement below.  For many years Glenn has been funding the Maryland State Tree Nursery to grow up to 1000 American chestnut seedlings each year.  He has distributed the seedlings to all Maryland county forestry boards.  I have been providing the seeds for this project.

2024 Baltimore County Forestry Board Workshop with Continuing Ed. Credits

          If you enjoyed our March Annual Workshop at Oregon Ridge last year, please join us for our 2024 yearly workshop "Fungi, Fire, Flora, and Fliers". Credits will be awarded for participation as well as a book exchange. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day and an ordered lunch. Please bring your own reusable water bottle and try to conserve our waste.
