Chestnut Orchard Volunteer Opportunity

Come spend a pleasant Saturday morning at an American Chestnut orchard and help the Chapter spruce up one of our orchards. Long range weather forecast shows no rain.

When: Next Saturday - June 1st - 8:30AM to Noon

Where: Ellicott City, MD - CMREC Seed Orchard

What: Spring Clean-up of the Orchard. Weed wacking, weed pulling, removal of some tree shelters and removal of a small number of trees.

Additional Info: Bring gloves, water, sunscreen. Optional - weed wacker if you have one, hand pruners or saw.
