Hi Professor Fang,
I am writing to enquire about how can I enter pulse laser parameters such as laser energy, pulse repetition time, and laser power in the MMCLAB software for light tissue interaction and how photon will detect by the detector. since I am a beginner so please tell me which software should I used currently I am using MMCLAB.
I look forward to hearing from you
Thank you

basically, mcx solves for the "Green's function" or "temporal point spread function" (TPSF), which is the solution (in fluence rate in joule/mm^2/s, or fluence in joule/mm^2, or energy deposition in joule) generated by a unitary source of 1 joule of total energy at t=0. if you know the amplitude/power of he source, you simply scale your solution by the source power; if your source has a temporal waveform, you just convolve it with your solution at each voxel.

Thank you

Thanks, I'll check it out. Since I am using the 200 ns pulse width with 5 volt peak to peak and with repetition frequency of 10 kHz and overdriving the LEDs.So it will work for time domain analysis using TPSF or not. I want to calculate absorption and scattering coefficients of the tissue. Please help me.
