hi Charly,

mmc does not support cyclic boundary. it only supports total absorption BC/Fresnel reflection BC and mirror BC

cyclic bc is very specific to slab-shaped domain. mmc's domain is more general to implement it.

if you need cyclic bc, and also higher shape accuracy, you may consider the SVMC mode of mcx, see my student Shijie Yan's paper

Dear Prof Fang and MMCLab users,

I am starting to use MMCLab and wonder if it's possible to model a semi-infinite medium using cyclic boundary conditions (like the cfg.bc parameter in MCXLab)?

Yours sincerely,
Charly
