Hello everyone,
Recently, I have read the paper Monte Carlo Simulation of Photon Migration in 3D Turbid Media Accelerated by Graphics Processing Units and download the related source code. Because what I do research on is about the Monte Carlo simulation in brain. Therefore my questions are as follows and I hope you can help me to solve them:
The source code I download does not contain the example about the brain or head simulation, but the paper shows the result shown as follow. And I have the similar head volume data, but they are slices of gray images and what I can obtain from these images are the gray value, how can I convert the gray value to the optical properties and how can I convert these images to the .inp file described in the above paper?

Thank you very much. I am looking forward to your reply.
