Dear fangq,
I hope this email finds you well.
I am currently working with MCXLAB for Monte Carlo simulations of light propagation and had a question regarding the source modeling. Specifically, I would like to know whether MCXLAB supports volumetric (3D) light sources, as opposed to only point or planar sources.
Thank you very much for your time and support. I look forward to your advice.
Best regards,
mcx/mcxlab supports a "pattern3d" source type, please review and run this section of the built-in demo script
