Dear Professor Greetings from SHREDS Kerala!   We are glad to inform you that SHREDS Kerala is coordinating the off campus recruitment of Cognizant [2012/2013 BTech/MCA] at 6 different centers starting from 9th March 2014. The dates of online tests are displayed in SHREDS website. Request you to inform all your 2012 and 2013 pass outs so that they can avail this opportunity.   CANDIDATES CAN WRITE ONLY AT ONE CENTER.   Eligibility 2012 (or) 2013 batch of BE / B Tech / ME / M Tech / MCA degree students belonging to CSE / IT / ECE / EEE / EIE / E&E / Applied Electronics / Computer & Technology / Electrical / ETE / ICE / Software/Mechanical Engg (Full Time only) Consistent academic record of a minimum of 60% in X, XII & 65% in the current education (UG /PG if applicable) considering all subjects. For PG students 65% in PG degree and 60% in UG is eligible Equivalent CGPA has to be calculated as per the respective university norms in UG/PG (if applicable) considering all subjects (Do not round off academic % or CGPA). No standing arrears allowed at the time of recruitment process Students who had already participated in Cognizant placement drive in the last six months are not eligible to participate in the combined campus drive Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills Open only to Indian Nationals   Designation: The students who get shortlisted will be offered the role of Programmer Analyst Trainee with a salary of 3 lakh / annum. Student Information: Students must carry the following for the recruitment process: 4 recent Photographs (both ears visible on a light background) 2 Sets of Resume (maximum of 2 pages) Photocopy of all academic records and till date semester mark sheets Photocopy X, XII mark sheet, UG/PG mark sheet and provisional/degree certificate are essential Any Govt. Photo ID Card. Students should make their own arrangements for travel / accommodation / food etc. for all the days Students who had already participated in Cognizant placement drive in the last six months are not eligible to participate in the combined campus drive   Registration with SHREDS and online hall tickets are mandatory. Candidates will have to use Internet Explorer version 8 or earlier for registration with SHREDS Kerala.   There is no examination fee / registration fee for the candidates for the Cognizant drive.   Recruitment of another company Biztime IT Solutions is also scheduled at Cochin on 13th March. One multinational company has asked us to be ready to do 2014 batch recruitment for them and to keep the database ready.
