Greetings Science Clubbers!
The school year is rapidly disappearing, and with this in mind, we are
announcing our final meeting of this semester. April 25th at 1pm, we
will be meeting in a room to be announced as soon as Facilities gets
back to us. The theme of this meeting will be upcoming projects. The
two projected experiments for the 2011-2012 are the effects of Fungi
on waste petroleum and improving upon the superconductor train
featured at the STEM Fair. We will also be covering how you can
initiate an experiment of your own, and what events are projected for
the rest of this year and those set up for next year.
Additionally, we are lucky enough to have a guest speaker, Valarie
McCullar, a Senior Scientist, Laboratory Manager University of
Minnesota - Masonic Cancer Research Center. She will be joining us on
Friday April 15th at 1:30 in room S.2400. For more information, please
see attached flier.
