Dear interfaith friends,
I'm still experimenting with inexpensive tools and techniques for making short web videos. I've discovered a way for hand holding a cell phone to capture fairly steady video. I've discovered an inexpensive online video editor, Wevideo, which works with Macs, PCs, Linux, Android and Apple phones, called Wevideo. Editing is the hardest part of making videos, but Wevideo makes it easier. It's very intuitive and enables folks to work in teams, so it will be a good teaching resource. This video,

The Interfaith Veterans Workgroup is launching a new project called Veterans Peace Videos. There are many good peacemaking works underway in Delaware. IVW wants to help people spread the news about these peacemaking works by teaching folks how to use their cell phones for taking excellent photos and video, and then, editing that footage into short web videos. We want to create a state wide peace studies program using video.
If you belong to a community of faith or a nonprofit, the skills you will learn by participating in this project will be valuable for the ongoing purposes of your organization.
If you have a peacemaking story to share, please let me know. Let's work together!
