It is the time to get the garden growing! This Friday, during the lunchtime/recess hour, Garden Docents will be in the McNear School Garden planting starts. Docents will assist students in planting, weeding, mulching and harvesting.

Last Friday we had lots of parent participation and a bunch of 2nd and 3rd graders spreading compost, turning the compost pile and planting seeds.

Petaluma Bounty donated to all involved with the School Garden Network, lovely herb and veggie starts left over from their plant sale. Thank you!

If you would like to be a part of the effort this Friday, please do. We will meet in the garden at 11:30. Please remind your children of this opportunity.
