The McNear Giving Tree

Parents,

We heard you at the Town Hall Meeting! Families expressed that they wanted to help and didn’t know specific ways they could contribute to the school community. Many of you would like to participate more actively at McNear, but given work schedules or other responsibilities would like to know how to participate in alternative ways than in the classroom.  In response, the Community Committee has created the McNear Giving Tree. This tree has two functions: It’s a place where you can find specific volunteer and donation opportunities. These opportunities are from teachers, office, programs, and committees at McNear. It’s also a place where parents can offer their skills, time, and materials that could benefit the school. Watch for the Giving Tree bulletin board in the front hall every day — it might just give you the opportunity you were looking for!
