Huge numbers of cosplayers attend the London Expo- here's a few answers
regarding the October 2012 London MCM Expo~

When will advance registration for the Masquerades open?
- Tuesday 11th September at 19:00 BST

What times will the Masquerades be?
- Schedules are finalised about a week before the event so times are
approximate.
- The mini Masquerade on Saturday will be around lunch time on the
Totally Cosplay Stage
- The EuroCosplay Finals on Saturday will be the last event of the day
in the MCM Theatre
- The Masquerade on Sunday will be the last event of the day in the
MCM Theatre

I want to watch a Masquerade, do I need a ticket?
- We have stopped doing audience tickets for the Masquerades. Just
head on over to the relevant stage when you are ready; you will need to
be quick for the best seats especially for the EuroCosplay Finals.

If I come in costume, do I have to take part in the Masquerade?
- Not at all. Indeed we could not fit everyone into the Masquerades
even if we wanted to ^_^

What help is there for cosplayers?
- The Totally Cosplay area has bag storage, changing rooms, supplies
for repairs, and experienced cosplayers on hand for assistance.

Huh? Totally Cosplay area?
- We have an area with the above facilities plus a stage and workshop
tables with cosplay related events throughout the weekend. The schedule
for this will be finalised closer to the event.
- There are also backgrounds and props for photographs which can be
used to get some novel shots or simply pictures without crowds of people
in the way!
- There are no extra charges, fees, or requirements beyond having a
valid wristband or event pass.

So... how do I occupy the stage or run a demonstration on the workshop
tables?
- Emailing cos...@mcmexpo.net asking for more details is the first step.

Are there any costume restrictions?
- Costumes should be suitable for a family show. Nudity, extreme BDSM
gear, or exposed prosthetic genitals for example are not welcome.
- There are weapons and props rules here:

I want to find people with costumes from the same show!
- This may interest you: http://www.londonexpo.com/show/mcmfringefestival/
- The message boards (where you are right now!) is also good, as is
the official Expo Facebook group http://www.facebook.com/groups/35517615269/

I want more information, but the website and message boards are just not
my style...
- We have other ways, one of which may suit you...
