Subject: House servant/help left without any information –Security Issue

Dear All,

Today the 27th July 2018 at 12.15 our Servant left the work and disappeared taking all his belongings without any information or notice. The Security people did NO checking or questioning him before he left. On asking THE Gate staff vague and typical answers were rendered . Please let me know as a resident the following;

1.How was he allowed to leave with such a security lapse?

2.who is responsible for this lapse?

3. In the absence of a proper responsible staff in the RWA office who does a resident complain to?

4.who should the resident approach in such a complaint is to be made officially?

5.Letter and complaints are not even acknowledged-not to mention the reply to any mail?

6.How is the Security accountable and which member of MC is looking after such complaints?

7.What course of action shall be taken against the Security staff as some things may be  missing from the house? No one was at home when the servant left so the checking is being done?

8.In the period 2016-17 a penalty of almost Rs. One Lakh rupees was imposed on the G4S Security agency for such lapses? Will be a silent affair as usual as NO reply or action is expected from the MC.

Kindly reply if the MC thinks the complaint is justified or keep enjoying the illegal occupation of the MC positions as no elections are being held .No reply or answers are expected anyway as per the past experiences.

Thanks anyway.

Dear Sh.Bhargav Ji,
Delay in replying is regretted.
Detailed enquiry has been done.Your servant while exiting through entry gate was checked by security guard on duty at that point of time and items in his possession were noted as under.
. Rs 280/_
.Two mobile phone
.His clothes
After he exited, Mrs Bhargav called him back to gate and  He was checked again at gate by the security staff and same items were found and he was allowed to go out thereafter as per instructions on phone from Mrs.Bhargav.
The only lapse on the part of security at gate was that security did not inform and took permission from you or Mrs Bhargav to allow servant to go out or not initially itself.
Keeping in view such a lapse all concerned security guards including supervisor have been warned and security system tightened. Further steps are under consideration to prevent servants going out with drivers etc with belongings in such type of cases in future.
Any your further query or suggestions are most welcome.

Dear Shukla ji and members of MC

I am thankful to the MC for the reply given to me. Luckily the servant did not take anything. My only plea and request is that a huge amount goes to the Security Agencies and MC should ensure that no compromises or lapses are made as it can be very costly or dangerous at any given time. Also there should be a periodical  random check up by the MC staff which should be documented. Yes I can vouch that in the mornings at 4.30am during my walks on the outside periphery the guards have been  reasonably active and not found sleeping.

Thanks for the reply. My only contention and single objective is ACCONTABILITY AND TRANSPERENCY  in the system.

Thanks and regards
