Subject; ISSUES OF MAIDS/DRIVERS/COOKS/SERVANTS IN THE COMPLEX
Dear Friends
Our Complex is small with only 105 Flats/Penthouses . We all have Drivers/Maids/Cooks and servants in our premises. Our dependence and requirements of their services is so large and neccessary that we tend to overlook some basic security measures that need to be addressed seriously.
1. Any one employed in any flat of the Complex for household duties or as drivers should be registered with the RWA office with full records of his past and copy of the Adhar Card .
2. A proper identity card with photo should be issued to all such employees which should be in their possession at all times for verification.
3. A nominal fee of Rs.50/- per card can be charged to cover the cost.
4. It is important that the information of anyone who is relived from his duty by a resident due to any reason should be informed to the RWA office immediately to update the records.
5. Most important is that such a person should not be employed by another residents of the Complex till full verification of the previous employment and the reasons for leaving are completed. If a person is caught stealing or misbehaving or any such reason is relieved from his duties by one resident chances are he will do the same with others. Some of them also come from criminal back rounds so residents have to be very cautious as they will otherwise compromise with the security .The most common is the issue with Drivers. It is embarrassing to see one driver being thrown out by one resident and next day working in the same complex with another innocent residents.
6. Please put some kind of regulation or restrain on such matters else we are just waiting for a major accident/incident like kidnapping-theft or even murder to happen. We live in a democratic society and such matters can only be controlled by SELF RESTRAIN and not compulsion. Sometimes it becomes personally humiliating to see the same driver or maid /servant smiling on your face clearly written on it saying “ MERA KYA KAR LIYA “.
This is a request only as we all belong to a Civilized society and should abide some rules and regulations for our own betterment.
