Update on today's Commissioners Capital Committee meeting and the Operations Committee meeting on May 7th.

Good news everyone. The  RP Commissioners today passed the 3 bond items and sent them to the full Commission, which will meet on Thursday May 21st.  The items will be on the Consent Calendar--which means these items will not be debated again, unless the Commissioners ask to have the items taken off that calendar. Generally, this means it should pass along with other items on the Consent Calendar with a simple vote to accept the Consent Calendar in total. 

Tomorrow, May 7th, there will be a vote on the agenda item about FREE Public Concerts--It is on the agenda for the Operations Committee---If this measure passes, this would mean the Jerry Garcia Amphiteater could be in the running for a funded free public concert in the coming year.  The agenda for that meeting is attached.
