Herz Recreation Center | Grand Opening Celebration, this Friday, January 9, 3:30-5 PM

Happy New Year! We’re excited to invite the community to celebrate the grand opening of the new Herz Recreation Center at 160 Mrs. Jackson Way in McLaren Park on Friday, January 9, from 3:30–5:00 p.m. (Next to Visitation Ave.)

The new recreation center includes an indoor basketball court with bleachers, a multi-purpose room, restrooms, outdoor fitness equipment, and a new nature exploration and picnic area. The celebration will feature a brief speaking program, activities for youth and seniors, open gym time, and a Junior Warriors game for all to enjoy.

We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate the newest San Francisco Recreation and Park Department facility serving the Visitacion Valley and Sunnydale communities. We look forward to welcoming neighbors, families, and community partners for this special occasion.
