Emergency Alert. SFPUC crews will be making nighttime water system improvements east of Crocker Amazon Playground.

When: Starting at 11:55 pm on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, through 4am on Thursday, July 11, 2024.

Where: Customers on the following streets are affected by this water operation:
Bertita Street
Seneca Ave from Alemany Blvd to Mission St.
Mission St from Amazon Ave to Onondaga Ave
Amazon Ave from Mission Street to Madrid Street
London St from Geneva Ave to Italy Ave
Paris St from Geneva Ave to Italy Ave
Lisbon St from Geneva Ave to Italy Ave

Weather/construction issues may postpone this work.

Customers in the vicinity of this shutdown and immediately north and east may experience temporary changes to their water. For those in the affected area, tap water may initially appear brown due to sediment stirred up or cloudy until construction and service restoration is complete. To address that, open the cold water tap as close to your meter (the sidewalk) as possible, and let it run for 3 to 5 minutes. If it is still brown, wait one hour and repeat. The SFPUC continues to meet all drinking water standards.

The SFPUC is taking precautions to minimize impacts to customers and restore service early Thursday morning.

Nighttime Contact: SF 311 or leave a message at 415-554-3233 or email in...@sfwater.org.

Visit sfpuc.gov/ServiceAlert for more information.

Thank you for your patience.
