August 28, 2025 New Workshop: Love Our Neighborhoods + CCG Eligibility Do you currently have Community Challenge Grant-funded project in Program Area A: Infrastructure? This new session on Thursday, Sept 4 at 2:00 PM dives into Tier 2 vs. Tier 3 eligibility—so you can understand what qualifies before you apply. Attendees can share project details and get clarity on components like landscaping, lighting, or minor construction. Who should attend: Applicants with infrastructure projects who want to confirm CCG eligibility.   Come prepared: Details matter when determining whether project components are considered maintenance and repair, minor landscaping, or construction and major landscaping. To get the most out of this session, be ready to share specifics about your proposal. Some background on Community Challenge Grants and Love Our Neighborhoods: Do you have an idea for a Love Our Neighborhoods project, but you're not sure how to fund it? Check out the City's Community Challenge Grants program! The Community Challenge Grants program offers up to $150,000 for community-led projects that enhance safety, belonging and resilience in San Francisco neighborhoods. Projects must take place in San Francisco and start after January 1, 2026. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofits or groups with a fiscal sponsor. The deadline to apply for a Community Challenge Grant is October 9, 2025.   Community Challenge Grants can be used to fund a variety of projects, including many of those permitted through Love Our Neighborhoods. Together we can build a more vibrant San Francisco.
