3rd COF Grant Applicant information and letter of support requests

Here is some additional information from one of the other applicants for funding through the Community Opportunity Fund grant opportunity.

Albert Sandoval is working on a project to add lighting to the Louis Sutter playground "round house", the Urban Agriculture building (formerly the old stables). Plus... replace the lights that were once along the paths in that playground area.  All that remains of these once bright lights are the poles.

There is a 4th applicant--Fran Martin,  who is submitting a grant request for additional improvements to the Native Plant Garden on Visitacion Ave.  We have not been able to connect with her. As we mentioned earlier, these are 4 projects that are in McLaren Park, there are about 50 city-wide projects—it is hard to know how competitive this will be.  Good luck to everyone!
