Subject: June Volunteer Workday at McLaren Park



Hi all,

Bill has designated me as his representative for drafting the email to remind everyone of tomorrow's Workday. The power has already gone to my cranium. Despite the absence of our fearless leader, SFH3 will still be on hand with our usual moist entertainments. 

The meeting point is in the main parking lot of the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater (21 John F Shelley Dr.), with work from 9:30 AM until Noon. Bill has also passed the ancient knowledge of marking trail from the start to the worksite to me, so find us when you get there. 

It looks like we will be in the high 50s/low 60s as the start of the workday, but the general advise of dressing in layers, include long sleeves and pants, is sound. Blackberries can be anywhere. SF Rec and Park will provide tools and gloves, water and snacks from Arizmendi Bakery. 

Bill is spreading a scurrilous rumor that the July workday will be canceled. Unfortunately as it would fall on July 4th, I suspect he may be correct. We better do twice the work tomorrow.
