Hello Folks,

You are invited to the  April McLaren Park collaborative meeting. It will be on Thursday, April 9th--6pm. By Zoom call. 

The first item on the agenda will be a presentation from  Building 180  This very interesting City Wide Art Project would bring large some temporary public art pieces to McLaren Park. Check out the links in the message for more details. 

 ( Info from the presenters)....The goal is to put art in our parks as part of their Big Art Loop project, this privately funded initiative is bringing up to 100 large-scale sculptures to San Francisco over the next three years, creating a 34-mile walkable and bikeable public art trail around the city. To date, they’ve installed 22 works, beginning along the Embarcadero, and are continuing to expand the loop with support from the Mayor’s office and city partners.  We have included additional information as attachments. If you would like to support this project or just learn more about it, there will be information on how to do that at our meeting. They plan to go to the Arts Commission on April 15 and are looking to meet with local stakeholders for support.
