Crocker Amazon Baseball and Softball Fields Renovation | Project update, May 2026

Thank you to everyone who joined us last weekend for our third community gathering about the conceptual design for the Crocker Amazon Baseball and Softball Fields Renovation.
At the workshop sessions, attendees rotated through six stations, each station offering an opportunity to learn about and discuss different, key topics that have been important to the design process. This includes the proposed community gathering spaces; dog play areas; lighting and parking; playfield surfacing; trees and other plantings; and walking paths and other amenities.

Thank you for all your thoughtful questions and feedback at the workshops. The project team will review all the comments we received and make appropriate adjustments to the concept plan. Next, we will post the revised plan on the project website and send notifications that it is available to review.
We are planning to take the concept plan before the San Francisco Recreation and Park Commission for approval later this year. Commission meetings are open to the public and all community members are welcome to attend.
