Today the San Francisco Rec & Park Commission held their March meeting
at the new Herz Recreation Center. Commission President Kat Anderson
adjourned the meeting in Elbert’s memory. Our McLaren Park advocates
in the audience were very touched by this.
We will also announce any future memorial’s & celebrations of life to
remember our dear friend, Elbert.
Thank you, Linda

WOW!!  Thanks for letting us know. That is so wonderful to do. I can almost hear Elbert tsking and saying he didn't do anything special to get this kind of attention. RIP Elbert.Emoji

Although I have not had the opportunity to thank Elbert for his monumental contributions, I hope the S.F. Park Department will name
a location in McLaren to remember and honor him for his years of dedicated work.

I can think of a few shiny new stone benches in the park that could be engraved!
