This Saturday, Saturday, Saturday December 6, 2025 is the final volunteer workday for 2025. We meet at the main parking lot for the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater (21 John F Shelley Dr.). Work begins at 9:30 AM and continues until noon. Be on time if you can, but I will mark a trail with chalk and flour to the worksite. The worksite will be a short walk west on the road to the AMP. We will be planting native plants in the areas around Grey Fox Creek which we have cleared of invaders most of the rest of the workdays. Since we will be planting instead of pulling, you shouldn't need your own heavy gloves. SF Rec and Park will provide tools and gloves, water and snacks (Arizmendi Bakery). Dress in layers. The high will be a very pleasant 61 degrees with light winds. However, the low earlier in the morning will only be 48. SFH3 will provide more snacks and BEER. I will also provide rides from the Glen Park BART Station to the parking lot. Let me know if you want one. We are very close to our annual goal of 200 volunteer work hours, so come on out and give back to our Parks.
