Hello All,

Yes, this is going out very late.  That's what I get for relying on Elbert to remind me about posting

the important news.  I am reasonably sure that almost everyone is aware that tomorrow is the 

Fourth of July.  Since it is a national holiday, SF Rec and Park can't afford to pay our team leaders overtime.  It's not like they are making huge sums of money to begin with.  Anyway,

please do your best to enjoy the holiday and if you are out in the parks, try to keep safe.

This might even include reporting folks who are planning fireworks.  They are illegal everywhere

in SF.  

A note about the next planned workday in McLaren Park, we will not meet in the parking lot for

the Amphitheater.  The first Saturday in August is JERRY DAY.  McLaren Park and the  Amp are 

taken over (in a good way) by the music and spirit of Jerry and the Dead.  As we get closer, a worksite and meeting place will be chosen that will avoid some of the crowds.  The celebration 

is something to be experienced, come out to the workday and stay for the music and fun.
