Hi there! Has anyone been to the Connect RX custom reporting class in
Pittsburgh? If so, did you find it valuable? Do you have a way to
browse to a report outside of the menu in CRX?
Thanks,
Margaret

Hi Margaret -

I attended the class. I did find it valuable, primarily because I needed the data dictionary and data diagrams, and McKesson would not give them to me until I attended the class :-).

Shawnelle Price taught the class and did a good job explaining the various table structures.

When I am working on a ConnectRx report, I go to the server and copy them over to a network location. In Crystal, I can run the report as I am working with it.

McKesson does not support customers adding reports to the ConnectRx application. There is probably a way to automate report printing directly from the ConnectRx server without going through the application but I'm not sure how to do that. I got info from another ConnectRx customer about how to add a report to ConnectRx Support and have done that with a few custom reports. I have not been able to successfully add a report to ConnectRx.NET.

We have built a couple of custom reports, added to ConnectRx support, then set-up as a batch to auto-print (since most of our users don't have access to ConnectRx support).

Thanks,
Leslie
