TO ALL FACULTY MEMBERS WHO HAVE GRADUATING STUDENTS:

 

Please take note of the following schedule:

 

FEBRUARY 22-28, 2013          - Final Exam Week for Graduating Students

MARCH 5, 2013                      - Deadline for Submission of Grades for Graduating Students

 

As the final exam week for graduating students is about to begin, please be reminded that giving INC (incomplete) grade to graduating students is not allowed anymore.

 

In this regard, you may need to set a specific date for your graduating students to submit all requirements  (or to take the final exam). This must be before March 5 so you will have an ample time to check them. By March 5 you must already give them their final grade and not wait anymore for those who failed to submit.

 

Please inform well your graduating students about this policy so that they will ensure that they finish their academic requirements on time as this is their final semester in college.

 

The rationale behind this policy is to facilitate the evaluation, deliberation and approval of the final list of graduating students by the Standards Deciding Body (SDB) and the Executive Council. In the past, this process has often been delayed because of INC grades given to graduating students which also caused the delay of our graduation preparations (diplomas, souvenir program, etc.).
