Re : Summer Shutdown and Holidays
The summer shutdown this year will be from March 25 (Monday) to March 31 (Sunday). This is part of the institution’s Pinasiglang Maki-TIPS (Tipid,
Impok, Punan at Sinop) Program, which helps the school save a significant amount for its sustained operations and, at the same time, allows the entire community to have time to be with family and loved ones. As practiced, there will be days within the shutdown
period that will be charged against employees’ vacation leave credits. To maximize the benefits of this program, work on campus will not be allowed during the shutdown:
March 25 - Holy Monday (Vacation Leave)
March 26 - Holy Tuesday (Vacation Leave)
March 27 - Holy Wednesday (School Holiday)
March 28 - Maundy Thursday (National Holiday)
March 29 - Good Friday (National Holiday)
March 30 - Black Saturday (Vacation Leave for those who have
regular work on Saturdays, unless declared a national holiday)
April 9 - Araw ng Kagitingan Holiday (Tuesday)
April 29 - New date of Administrators/Personnel Day (Monday)
April 30 - School Holiday (Tuesday)
May 1 - Labor Day Holiday (Wednesday)
Let us take advantage of this time to rest and re-charge as we prepare for the coming school year.
