Charity Updates & Reminders

Hi everyone, of course it's me again :D The www.pink98.tk site has been updated. Thank you so much for everyone who emailed and texted offering cash and goods. Financial report will be emailed next week once I get everyone's donations. 

Here are some updates and reminders:

UPDATES

1. Party host will be Jollibee instead of McDonalds because McDo requires 100 guests before they provide a mascot, while Jollibee doesn't. I have made reservations with Jollibee and total cost is only P6,940 inclusive of 40 meals, mascot, party host, hats, balloons, name tags, etc. 

2. The party program will start at 10am and ends 11am.  If the host asks for our participation at any point, please be cooperative and join in. The next hour (11-12) will be spent for feeding the kids. Afterwards we will give out goody bags to the kids and their parents. We can visit the kiddie ward thereafter. If you have spare toys or any loose gifts at home for kids, please bring them so we can hand it out to the others who weren't able to join the party. Some of these kids are too sick to participate in such activities. =(

REMINDERS

1. To everyone coming on Sat, please WEAR PINK so that we are easily identified as members of the sponsor group, plus we'll look nice in pictures! =D

2. This is the complete address of the venue and some basic directions:

FROM KATIPUNAN (McDonalds side), turn right going into Xavierville Avenue. Go straight and turn right on the busy intersection going towards Anonas. Go straight until you reach the stoplight with McDonalds on your right. Turn right on the corner of McDonalds and turn left on the next stoplight (V. Luna Road). Just go straight until you see AFP Medical Center (big white building) on your left. Turn left going into the hospital and ask the guard for directions. Our contact is Ms. Aida Calagui of the Kiddie Corner.

***The building is a bit old. Please don't expect a nice and bright hospital. The elevator is also a  bit freaky but it's nothing we can't handle =)

3. Please inform me if you need a ride going to AFP so I can make carpool arrangements for everyone. If anyone has a car and can accommodate others, please send an email here how many people you can accommodate.

As of now I can accommodate 6 people in our van. Please email or text me if you need a ride =)

4. EAT before going to the event. The Kiddie Party meals are only for kids and some hospital staff. We can all eat lunch afterwards, have a reunion of some sort.

This is a part of MCHS 98 events, and is a way to bring us together before the reunion.
