CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS!
We need help from Greens across Montreal. From March 19-21 at Palais
des Congrès there will be Salon Expo Manger Santé et Vivre Vert, which
attracts 20 000 people who want to be more green.
Needless to say, this is an excellent opportunity to find new members
and new volunteers.
The Green Party will have a booth here- it will offer an interesting
opportunity to network and experience one of Quebec’s most popular
Expos.
Please e-mail mcgillgr...@gmail.com if you are interested in
helping out!

GET OUT AND VOTE! (ONLINE OR ON CAMPUS)
As a part of the Green community here at McGill, Organic Campus would
like to remind everyone to vote this week before March the 11th online
(www.vote.electionsmcgill.ca), at one of the SSMU voting stations, or
at other stations around campus for this semester's referendum. One of
the most important referendum questions that have been renewed this
semester is the SSMU Green Fund, officially the Environment Fee, which
enables the eco-minded undergraduate body at McGill to achieve their
ideals of a more sustainable life here on campus.
With only an opt-outable 1.25$ charge per student, this fund allows
many of the sustainable initiatives to exist and is available to any
undergraduate student to utilize. In the past, it has supported
projects such as the McGill Farmer's Market with which we collaborate,
the McGill Food Systems Project, Midnight Kitchen, the Plate Club, and
many more.
