Young Greens Council (YGC) elections are upon us! Apply today

We are calling all youth interested in pursuing a leadership position
with national recognition, motivated to make a positive impact, and
prepared to create real change to come forward and announce their
nomination!
There are a variety of positions available on the council, including:
• Chair (Female)
• Chair (Male)
• Organizing Chair (Female)
• Organizing Chair (Male)
• Francophone Communications
• Anglophone Communications
• Administration and Finance Chair
The YGC leads Canada's most exciting and fastest growing political
youth wing. If you are involved with the Green Party, and are looking
for a chance to lead, this is your opportunity!
To apply for a position you must be a member of the Green Party of
Canada and between the ages of 14-29 (inclusive). The YGC represents
all Greens under 30 from every walk of life and from every region of
Canada. We hope that this year's candidates will continue to showcase
both the Green Party's and Canada's wealth of diversity.

Candidate profiles will be posted on the YGC website by February 28th,
2010.
The final day to become a member of good standing with Green Party
(and an eligible voter) is March 14th, 2010. Voting will take place
from March 17th to March 21st. More details on the voting procedure
to come.
