Answer your questions yourself. The two most popular posts here are:
is there a bbs in area code (xxx)? and is there public access unix
in area code (xxx)?

I suggest you all get the files:
usbbs95.zip - a good list of national bbses by area code
nixpub.zip - a list of public access unix systems by area code

These are available by anon ftp from wuarchive.wustl.edu in directory
mirrors/msdos/bbslists or use archie to find em.

Are these files very big? If not, then perhaps they could be posted
periodically, as sort of a FAQ, for those of us unfortunate enough to
not have access to splinternet.
