McFerrin Park Community Garden Tomorrow

Tomorrow looks like it's going to be beautiful!  What better way to spend it than at the community garden?  We'll be at the garden working hard from 9:30 to 11 Saturday morning.  

Here is an updated list of what we hope to accomplish:

-Weed beds

-Mulch around garden beds

-Move a picnic table to the community garden area

-Move one (or two) of the garden beds to sunnier spots

-Thin strawberries (if you want strawberry plants for your home, we will have plenty to give away after thinning them!)

-Make a sign for the community garden

-Hook up automatic watering system

It's an ambitious list to get done in 1 1/2 hours, but as the saying goes, "many hands make light work."  We'll have some water and light snacks to keep you hydrated and energized!  The garden is located beside the Salvation Army Chapel on the corner of Berry and Meridian.
