Hi everyone - The Property Assessor's office is concluding its 2009 Property Reappraisal Outreach Program and we're interested in your feedback about our communication and education efforts. The goal of Property Assessor George Rooker's outreach plan was to connect with the community to better understand your questions and concerns, and also to explain how state law guides the county's reappraisal program.

The Property Assessor's office has communicated with thousands and thousands of property owners at little or no cost via - discussing topics by way of neighborhood listservs across the city, holding public meetings, emailing educational information thru existing email lists of community-oriented organizations, presenting educational videos on our website, working with traditional and new media, and spreading the word thru good old word-of-mouth.

We'd like your opinions on what worked well and what needs improvement in terms of the outreach and educational efforts specifically.
  • Please email your constructive thoughts and honest opinions regarding the Property Assessor's 2009 Property Reappraisal Outreach Program.
  • Please keep responses to 250 words maximum and include your full name and a day-time phone number, in case we need to clarify your comments.
  • Please email responses to elizabeth...@nashville.gov with subject line: "Reappraisal Outreach Program Response."
  • Reponses will be accepted thru Wednesday, June 3, and will be viewed by the management staff of the Property Assessor's office.

Thank you for your assistance in our efforts to learn and improve.
