Welcome McFatter Family!

Congratulations to our seniors who completed their Practical Nursing State Board exam (NCLEX). We had 100% successfully pass their exam this year. Great job students and Karen Smith, their instructor.

Last week, McFatter celebrated success at SkillsUSA Florida State Leadership Conference and Competition. We brought home 3 bronze, 4 silver, and 3 gold medals. Congratulations to all the contestants. In June, the gold medalists will compete at nationals in Louisville, Kentucky.

Recently, McFatter's Florida Future Educators of America Club attended the BCFEA County Convention.  We came home with two awards: 3rd place - Community Service Project and 2nd place - Display Board. Additionally, Samantha Nunez received a $500 scholarship. For the first time ever, one of our students was elected to a BCFEA county officer position… congratulations to Shannon Craig, the BCFEA county secretary and the other students on their wins.

Please take special note of the Advanced Placement schedule. Students must be on time to their sessions, as the College Board has very strict parameters on this test administration. Students arriving after the timing begins CANNOT be admitted. Additionally, students will be released a bit early to eat their lunch (11:15) on days where tests begin at noon. Please plan accordingly. Best of luck on your exams.
