Saw the photos of old friends. You are still the same young Sushil, as seen back in 83. The person in suit and goggles is kiddo ?  Must be him. But I used to like him for his child like innocent face without mustache.

I do not know if this Magazine is meant to be released during the G anniversary or not. The contents say that it coincides with the G ann celebrations. May be the G ann celebrations are yet to be done. I do not know. Just a clarification.....(;)).

Thanks for those 4 pic's each of 4 MB size, which I have reduced to the size of less than 100 KB each & attached herewith. I am happy to see our Ravindranath Kadiwal as usual in the front row of audience.
I also saw our SPS, Kalappa & Kiddo of M. Foundation, I feel taken in that resort bar little outside the main town, forgot the name.  Last time, Yeshwantha & Yogesh took me there.
It seems to me that they did not come this time.
I am surprised to see your statement: "I was given the special edition of College Magazine, now named as Praakaamya, brought out during Golden Jubilee celebrations".
I was asking almost every month during last one year with our H. S. Prabhakara, Professor & Hedda-of  Dept. of Information Science & Engg., Malnad College of Engineering about the date of Golden Jubilee celebrations and he told me last week also that date is yet to be finalised !
Entaha viparyaasavidayya?
It is surprising that we MCE Alumni & H. S. Prabhakara did not know about this alleged Golden Jubilee celebrations.
Even M-Foundation memebers with whom I closely interact did not inform me about it.
Or was it held only in MTES office or in Principal's office?
 
Sushil, I stil have that "Vaastu Shilpi" with your coverpage design and probably another with that of KB Bhat
 
Anyway, Hope to receive more detailed updates of the event & pictures, as I miss it every year.
 
I have already told our H. S. Prabhakara, Professor & Hedda-of  Dept. of Information Science & Engg., Malnad College of Engineering that I can't take leave during the month of December, and hence to arrange event atleast once in 5 years during 2nd Saturday/Sunday of another rmonth, say November.
I hereby request M-Foundation also to use their good offices & prevail upon the official MCE Alumni Ass'n to keep this event atleast once in 5 years during 2nd Saturday/Sunday of another rmonth, say November [Alumni from USA can combine with Thanks Giving Day Holiday there to take OFF] and to start with atleast next year 2011.

I could finally make it to Haasna on 11th & 12th Dec, to attend the Alumni Get-together on 11th & Gen Body Meeting on 12th.  Police Station, Picture Palance are the same, I could not trace our fav hangout "3 Star", but latter Kalappa/Ravi showed it to me. Its named now "New Star". Road to College looks very different, with lots of bldgs. Govt College has a new Indoor Stadium. Lots of shops in front of our College. This was my first time back in College after so many years. College Main Block & Hostel, looks almost the same. Hostel Old Block, are as we left it ( I should say almost smells the same !, except that the Bath Room is tiled now. Crowd was not that big, but met quite a few seniors/batchmates/juniors & Kandaswamy. I was given the special edition of College Magazine, now named as Praakaamya, brought out during Golden Jubilee celebrations. I will try to scan & send select portions of the same, which features very interesting old pictures & articles, including my coverpage design. Few pics taken during the events enclosed here. Hope the mail reaches you, as the mail size is big. I could'nt zip it. In case you can do it & Pls forward to rest of the MCEans.
