Dear MCE Alumni friends around the globe, .

 

It is our pleasure to invite you all for the grand gala “MCE Alumni Reminiscence MUMBAI  Meet-2016”, arranged by Malnad Engineers' Association (MEA) in association with MCE Alumni Assn [MAA], MCE, Hassan [Karnataka state] with the help of we, Mumbai based MCE Alumni at the below venue: (8 hours duration from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm), Detailed program list is at the end.

 

Kindly note that in view of overwhelming response pouring in from across the globe, it has been decided by the 22-member strong Mumbai based MCE Alumni Core Group that REGISTRATION for this Meet will be restricted to a maxi’m of 200 Alumni [incl spouses] on first come first served basis and the decision of the Core Group would be final.

VENUE:    Hotel Ashwith Residency [3rd Floor terrace], Sector-15, CBD Belapur on Palm Beach Road near Croma Electronics), Navi Mumbai-400614, which was finalized a couple of months ago by Prakash Pai (Hassan Dealer of Mahindra Tractors), co-Founder & Vice President of MEA, Hassan, after seeing various options.

 

For the stay of outstation MCE Alumni delegates, we have negotiated the adjacent Class 'A' Hotel Corporate [website: http://www.hotel-corporate.in/index.html] A/C Executive Double Rooms [all available 34 out of 50 are blocked by us) at negotiated Discounted rate of ₹2,000 per day for double sharing (which works out to just ₹1000 per head, if there is an alumnus partner friend to share with, all inclusive of complimentary breakfast+ Wi-Fi, on cash payment to us in advance.  

After the presently available 34 A/C Exec. Double rooms [blocked for us] become FULL in Hotel Corporate - by way of confirmed Registrations, the next [late] registering delegates requesting for accommodations, would be accommodated in the A/C Exec. Double rooms either in Hotel Ashwith or Mahesh depending on availability, which are adjacent decent Hotels.

Hotel Corporate is adjacent to the Venue of the cocktail Dinner party, Hotel Ashwith , thus by using common lift for both Hotels, the guests after getting tipsy high in the party spirit by refreshing the nostalgic moments of MCE days with batchmates, seniors & juniors, can easily reach their rooms.

 

Stay in Hotel Corporate which is optional, but can be arranged as above for those outstation alumni delegates who request the organizers with full advance payment for the no. of days of stay.

Alumni Guests coming from Hassan will arrive by flight on the same day 10-Dec noon, stay for 3 nights & depart the hotel on 13-Dec Tuesday morning.   Already around 30 have reserved for 3 days of stay in Hotel Corporate by advance payment, incl booking of their air tickets.

Guest- house rooms of Professional Bodies such as Institution of Engineers (I), Institution of Town Planners India (ITPI), etc are available at walking distance from the VENUE.  Respective members can avail of those, on their own reservation arrangements, we will not be arranging there.

2] On Mon 12-Dec:  1 day Mumbai Darshan by bus from Hotel Corporate & back [8 hours].
