Dear All,

Mr.Ashok , Sustainable Product Development Lead, McD BERL is working
on a product which is MULTIPURPOSE in nature but at one cost just like
“Lotus Elise car which has a front end component with seven functions
but just one cost"

Key features

It completely uses nature’s resources and it,

1. Provides ventilation (400 cfm at sunny day)
2. Provides daylight (for 200 sqft area with 150-200 lux)
3. Provides light in the night time (Using solar stored energy: 300
lux for 200 sqft area, 5 hrs duration a day)

Other features
1. Acts as a emergency light
2. Replaces the fan
3. Acts as a lighting fixture
4. Gives thermal comfort of 30 deg c when the external temperature is
36 deg c
5. Acts as ceiling decorative object
6. Zero operating cost and zero energy

He is planning to release this product in August 2011.

Any suggestions for the product improvement are welcome.

What are comparable products in the market? I heard someone discussing a
ceiling light fixture and return air diffuser integrated.

Hi,
I was telling this: that will integrate ceiling diffusers with light
fixtures.

That was someone else, your idea is more integrated, but I think there is a
product that combines ceiling lighting with return air and nothing else.

1. It would be good to check out what is already available in the market.
2. For flexibility and cost variation we need more than one model of this
product - one that has 2 features, then 3 features etc.
