Hi All,
I wanted to let you know that at the top of the tech day, the company will come together to observe a Yahrzeit, reciting a prayer and lighting a candle. Yahrzeit is the Jewish tradition of recognizing the anniversary of a death. It’s become a tradition within the Blueberries company to take a moment on the day of each Opening to mark the many lives that were ended during the holocaust. I am sure that any crew who would like to join and participate are welcome, but you do not have to. The regular work notes will happen after the prayer is concluded.
It’s also worth noting that Monday is International Holocaust Remembrance Day and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.
Thanks to all of you work your hard work this week. It looks beautiful and I am deeply proud that we are hosting these artists and are presenting this work on our stage.
Dixie
