I wish I knew the answer to your question.  There is no doubt the 6 brothers/Pennsylvania line are related to the Francis & John/Virginia line, but I don't know how or where.

They may have had a common ancestor in Ulster, or may have been in Scotland.  Perhaps hundreds of years back?

Thank you!  I am so glad you did that can you tell me how/where that Francis McCown line meets our line.  I am obviously in the Alexander mc line and am not sure where we link with Leonard’s Frances line.
