We use normally STEP format for importing CAD geometries. As I understand you already know how to import the CAD into McCad. If you are going to use McCad, you need to convert your geometry into STEP format before doing this.

Summary: So I've gotten information that Revit model is not 3D CAD file and cannot be processed with McCAD (thank you Lei Lu), at least not the kind McCAD requires.
Possible solution: Convert .rvt Revit file to mesh geometry, and then convert it back to "real" 3D solid. (edges, vertices, surfaces).
