Hi there,

I'm having a bit of a problem with the MCCAD and MCMESHTRAN binary installations on Windows 7.  I can get the modules to load and work fine.  However, when making any changes in either the MCCAD tab or the MCMESHTRAN tab, the Save button in Salome is greyed out.  In addition, when I click on the Properties button from the File menu, it shows that only the GEOM and Paravis data is stored in the Study file.  It essentially means I have to keep the Study open in Salome because if I shut it down, I lose all the MCCAD and MCMESHTRAN work.

I'm sure I've followed all the binary installation instructions correctly.  Is there a way to tell Salome to save the MCCAD and MCMESHTRAN data in the Study file?

Cheers,

Matt

Hi Matt,

You are doing everything correctly. However, the studying saving function of McCad is not implemented yet.

For the time being, you can export your decomposed model to STEP file, although it is not so convenient.

best regards,
Yuefeng

Thanks for clearing that up Yuefeng.  I really appreciate all the work you've done making this.

Cheers,

Matt
